You can do better
I don't know your life, but I do know human nature.
You can do better.
Who am I to say that to you? That's a good question, because I don’t know your life.
But here is what is true about human nature. We settle for less. We put up with activity because it's convenient, safe, and familiar. We spend time on people, things, ideas, and habits that take and pull from more than give and pour into.
I am not trying to get into your business, or saying that I know the exact situation you are in right now. I am simply talking about human nature. About how we get ourselves into situations and before we know it, we've let it stay past its expiration date.
My message here is simple: you can do better.
I am not suggesting you uproot everything. I am not even suggesting you change. I am suggesting you give it some thought. You can do better, and you know it.
Couple of reads, audio, things
Here’s a few things I found interesting over the last week.
The best Tiny Desk concert this year.
The song that immediately lifts my spirits.
My favorite pair of headphones for the gym.
A random book that gives me writing ideas.
What I’ve used to sketch ideas since 2017.
