Think small
Thinking small is actually thinking big.
Thinking small is actually thinking big.
When I got back from South Africa, I had wondered to myself if I really wanted to have a career that would have me traveling around the world. Each week I’d be in a different city, then be in that city for a day or so, then on to the next.
Then I devised a plan and strategy. I wondered to myself: What if I just become an attraction in southern California? What if I just dominate the speaking business in cities like Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside? There are enough hiring managers and potential clients within that radius, I think it could make a career.
And that is the power of thinking small.
Thinking small is thinking big.
When you break an idea down into bits and pieces, you start to recognize just how big it is, and all the opportunities within that little box.
It turns out that the smaller you make the idea, the bigger it gets.
Think small, and big things will happen. I can’t guarantee success, but I bet you’ll learn something amazing about the place you’re trying to get.
